汉语原句　摩擦使得输入机器的功大于由机器所做的有用功。
英语错句　Friction make the work put into a machine be greater than the useful work accomplished by it.
改正后的句子　Friction makes the work put into a machine greater than the useful work accomplished by it.

(to省略)不定式也能做补足语的吧?
请大家帮忙解释下啊,谢谢

　分析一下句子结构就明白了：
Friction -----makes-------the work put into a machine------greater---than----the useful work accomplished by it.
